Description
TFN as we are popularly called was established in
1995 offically became regsitered in 1997 by the corporate affairs commission
of Nigeria in 1997, established to educate, create and increase public
awareness on sustainable conservation and utilisation patterns of natural
resources and its environment.
Tfn program can be broadly divided into Three main
divisions namely, Research , Advocacy, and Project implementation, TFN has
a staffs capacitt of 8 full time paid staffs, 7 volunteers and 4 internship
students and an annual budget of about US$5,000.
TFN operates a subsidiary body known as TROPICAL
ECOTOURS INTERNATIONAL where we use tourism to entice the public into nature
conservation.
