Mission Statement: To conserve the natural environment of Namibia and to promote appropriate protection, wise and sustainable use of the natural resources and sustainable development.

Projects and activities:  Working together with other NGO`s establishing Wildlife Clubs at Schools. We are a founder member of the Namibian Environmental Education Network organization [NEEN].

We are represented on various committees and forums, such as the Large Carnivore Forum, Cites, and we are also invited to attend various workshops.

We monitor ecological sensitive areas and breeding grounds

The Society has reacted strongly on major issues of concern such as the proposed Epupa Hydro-electric scheme, and the veterinary fence erected on the Botswana/Namibia border.

Other activities have included the setting up of nature trails and the establishment of a Vulture restaurant near Karibib.
